1. Who We Are
Length: 45 min to 1 hour
This informative presentation provides audience members with a better understanding of Kids Hub CAC's history and purpose, while also providing an explanation of services provided to child abuse victims and their non-offending caregivers.
2. Darkness to Light
Length: 2.5 to 3 hours
The only nationally available program scientifically proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change protective behaviors, this training filled with survivor testimony will teach audience members how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse within their communities, businesses, and civic organizations by developing proper protocol. This training is available in English and Spanish.
3. Basic Child Abuse Prevention Training
Length: 45 min to 1 hour
This training defines child abuse for audience members while also exploring the trauma that child abuse victims and their families often face and how that trauma affects them. Audience members will also be provided with information regarding mandated reporting in the state of Mississippi.
4. Forecast
Length: Varies
FORECAST provides participants with a hands-on learning experience by allowing participants to play the roles of law enforcement, CPS, child victim, abuser, non-offending caregiver, etc. with cases worked by child abuse professionals across the United States.
