Are you passionate about protecting children and supporting families in need? At Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center, our internship program offers students a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of child advocacy while contributing to the important work we do every day.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome students at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels from a wide range of academic programs, including but not limited to:
Social Work
Marriage and Family Therapy
Psychology
Counseling
Child and Family Studies
Public Health
Public Relations
Nonprofit Administration
Criminal Justice
Other human services-related fields
Whether you’re fulfilling a field placement or seeking general experience in a professional setting, Kids Hub provides a supportive, trauma-informed environment to help you grow personally and professionally.
What to Expect as an Intern:
Structured orientation and training
Supervised, real-world experience in child advocacy services
Opportunities to observe and participate in multidisciplinary team functions
Involvement in prevention education and community outreach
Exposure to the day-to-day operations of a child advocacy center
Our goal is to provide a rich, professional experience that prepares future advocates, clinicians, educators, and leaders to work effectively with children and families impacted by abuse.

Application Review
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed based on your academic background, interests, and availability.
Interview Invitation
Selected applicants will receive an email to schedule an in-person interview at Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center.
Interview Process
Intern interviews follow a formal job interview format. We want to ensure your goals and values align with our mission and the needs of the families we serve.
Final Selection
If selected, you’ll receive orientation details and a schedule to help you prepare for your internship experience.
