At Kids Hub Child Advocacy Center, a teddy bear is more than just a toy, it’s a symbol of comfort and hope for every child that walks through our doors.

What started as accepting gently loved stuffed animals has grown into something much more meaningful. Over time, we realized that giving a brand-new teddy bear sends a powerful message to every child who comes to Kids Hub- you are worthy of something special and new.

In our Teddy Bear Closet, children get to choose their bear’s outfit and pick out matching friendship bracelets, one for them and one for their bear.

This small act often sparks big smiles, laughs, and even dancing. For a child who has experienced trauma, this small act of joy helps begin their healing.

That’s why Kids Hub has made the commitment to reduce secondary trauma and give every child a brand new bear. Every teddy bear is sponsored by someone who makes that commitment with us.
